Croydon Rifle and Pistol Club
Croydon Rifle & Pistol Club is situated in Jessops Way on the Croydon & Mitcham borders in south London, Surrey. It is close to road, bus & the Beddington Lane tram stop and has lots of on and off road free parking.
Croydon club has been around at its present location for 40 years and with a lot of hard work by past & present members has been transformed from a derelict area of ground into a range where most of the ISSU & NSRA competitions can be shot.
Croydon club is cleared to shoot .22 smallbore rifles up to 100 yards and on our 25 metre gallery rifle and black powder range various calibres up to .455".
The 20, 25, 50, 100 yard and the two 25 metre ranges have all-weather capability and the two indoor air weapon 10 metre ranges are heated. So our one club has most of the facilities for shooting competitions that you would ever need, all in one place, with no range fees and for all the year round.
We have regular visits throughout the year to the National Shooting Centre at Bisley for full-bore rifle shooting, using the NATO 7.62mm round, from 200 to 1,000 yards and have recently started gallery rifle shooting there at 100 yards just for something different.
Please arrange with our Membership Secretary before turning up at the club just so we can make sure someone will be there to show you around.
Our opening times are;
Tuesday (for rifle) 19:00 - 22:00
Wednesday (for pistol) 19:00 - 22:00
Thursday (training only) 19:00 - 22:00
Saturday (Summer) 14:00 - 22:00 Winter 14:00 - 18:00
Sunday (for pistol) 10:00 - 14:00
We don't restrict certain days for certain types of firearms but the stated days do have priority for that type of firearm. Thursdays are for training only but if full members want to shoot, the training team has priority for the ranges over any other shooter.
