Bisley Open Days

Book up your weekend now as the NRA is having a visitor day this year on Saturday 3rd May & Saturday 13th September. Access is from 9am and all shooting is under a one-to-one tuition by NRA coaches.    You can try your hand at rifle (target & military) , pistol (black powder), archery, shotgun and many others.  See  for more information and a registration form. You do have to book up in advance this time though.  Please note that if you've been  convicted of any custodial offence of longer than three years you are not allowed to take part.

 

We have a World Champion! Congratulations!

Ken Parr Jr. shot as part of the winning 50M Rifle Prone Mens Junior Event, with Matthew Thomson & Richard Phillips, at the 49th ISSF World Shooting Championships, Zagreb, Croatia. This is the first time a British team has won gold in 24 years.  Well Done Ken!

2006 Commonwealth Games in Australia

Congratulations to Mick Gault gaining the record for the most Commonwealth medals won by an English competitor when he won his 15th medal in the games.

Two of our members, Jenny Corish and Sian Corish,  competed in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. They competed in the 10 metre air-rifle and the 3P 50 metres for Wales. .

Winner of the Daily Sketch Trophy, Leading Junior Team, was our Croydon Junior Team consisting of Jenny & Sian Corish and Ken Parr Jnr.
